Abstract

The speech highlights the forms of self-education of teachers, which become most relevant in the process of competency-oriented education. Professional self-development is defined as an effective individual form of self-educational training. As for the group, it is a network of pedagogical communities. The characteristics of certain forms of self-educational training are presented.
