Abstract

Analytical materials (preprint) are devoted to the problem of developing the scientific and pedagogical potential of Ukrainian universities in the context of expanding institutional autonomy. The authors, based on the analysis of domestic and foreign scientific works, identify and substantiate the theoretical foundations (hypotheses, patterns, trends, principles) of the development of scientific and pedagogical potential of Ukrainian universities.It is proposed to develop the scientific and pedagogical potential by levels (institutional, personal) and components (intellectual, emotional, spiritual). Innovative pedagogical technologies (supervision, TV mentoring, situational training, etc.) of development of scientific and pedagogical workers are substantiated. Approaches to the evaluation of scientific activity of scientific and pedagogical workers in accordance with the concept of bibliometrics and the concept of excellence in higher education and research are specified. It is proposed to develop the scientific and pedagogical potential by levels (institutional, personal) and components (intellectual, emotional, spiritual).
