Abstract

The author of the review article analyzes the features of the organization of the adult education system in the Republic of Turkey; constructive pedagogical ideas of possible borrowing of the Turkish experience in the theory and practice of domestic continuous education are allocated. Adult learning has been found to be the most diverse of lifelong learning sectors, and national adult learning systems are complex and heterogeneous. It was proved that Turkey's institutional efforts have been aimed at supporting and disseminating adult education and have facilitated access to educational resources and materials, continuing adult education through lifelong learning. Attempts to improve the adult learning sector have resulted in the establishment of Continuing Education Centers at universities that provide educational opportunities and meet the needs of both adults and sectors. The need to improve the skills of specialists over longer periods has been substantiated, and better links have been established between the Centers for Vocational Education and Business.There were identified key providers, key institutions and sources for adult education; the legislative and regulatory support of the organization and development of the adult education system in the Republic of Turkey is analyzed. It was studied that in order to spread and develop adult education in Turkey, projects of the World Bank and the EU have been developed and implemented, many protocols on cooperation have been signed, as well as projects on adult literacy, civic education and vocational education. EU projects have been shown to increase opportunities for mobility and partnerships, as well as adult education, higher education / training for students, teachers, trainers and youth workers.
