Abstract

Modern media have the ability to constructively influence society as a whole and each individual citizen. But they can also lead to negative consequences: to push for certain destructive actions, to inflame conflicts, to change people's views and beliefs. Therefore it is necessary not only to analyze the content of the read, but also to notice methods of manipulation. What should you keep in mind when reading any text? How to protect yourself from manipulative influence and not become part of the chain of its distribution? When to see a psychologist?
