Abstract

The article reveals the role of questions as an important tool for the development of students' critical thinking in history teaching. It is argued that different types of questions perform various functions in learning, stimulating the thinking of children and their activity in learning. The necessity of systematic work with questions and its potential in the lesson are substantiated.
