Abstract

The author has conducted the analysis of national and foreign pedagogical, research and methodological literature, on the basis of which the essence of the concept of intercultural competence has been defined. There is determined role of the intercultural competency in the modern system of specialist training; there is defined and characterized structure of intercultural competence, which includes cognitive, intrapersonal, sociolinguistic, emotive and processual components.
