Abstract

With the growing importance of human capital, education is becoming the most important means of forming a new generation of highly skilled workers. At the same time, there is a gap between the growing demand for new professions, professional qualifications and competencies and the supply of educational services from educational institutions, the availability of appropriate qualified professionals in the labor market. During 2020, a group of expert analysts from the Bila Tserkva Institute for Continuing Vocational Education of the University of Education Management of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, employers and key stakeholders within the project "Promoting Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive 2020" in Ukraine research on the needs for new qualifications (competencies) in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving for the development and implementation of new educational programs in educational institutions of different levels.The materials of the study are included in the information-analytical complex "The need for new qualifications in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving in Ukraine: the current state and development of the labor market", which includes: analysis of the current state, trends and barriers in the labor market in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving , information-analytical interview on the needs for new qualifications (competencies) in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving, presentation case "The need for new qualifications in the field of energy efficiency and energy saving in Ukraine: the current state and development of the labor market", video interview with expert analysts and key stakeholders.The list of professions / specialties in the labor market is necessary for the development of short-term competency-oriented educational programs that will provide training and retraining for professional qualifiers, working and unemployed population. Digital information and analytical complex prepared in print and electronically. (CD). Materials can be mastered in off-line and on-line modes. All components of the complex are located in the Electronic Library of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine. For a wide range of educators who are involved in the organization of various segments of training for new programs in the field of energy efficiency, thermal insulation and energy saving, who are interested in modernizing the system of vocational education and adult education.
