Abstract

The theses reveal the essence of multilingual competence as the main goal of multilingual education. Its structure is characterized, specific competencies in its structure are analyzed: metalinguistic, compensatory and intercultural. The skills that are the basis for assessing the formation of multilingual competence are identified.
