Abstract

The paper updates information about the project method, defines this definition. It is noted that the use of the project method in Ukrainian language and reading lessons is designed to activate the cognitive interests of students, critical thinking, to develop the ability to apply the acquired knowledge in practice. In addition, the stages and types of projects are identified, examples of practical application of this method are given.
