Abstract

The article presented the results of a survey of modern primary and secondary school graduates on their further studies or employment. Graduates' expectations for their first employment in the future are analyzed. Do they believe that work should, above all, bring income or an important opportunity for self-realization in work? The influence of personal factors is clarified, namely: self-assessment of persistence in achieving goals, overcoming difficulties; ability to protect one's own interests, interest in the learning process, availability of cultural resources, etc. to choose a life path.
