Abstract

The content of the textbook (academic, profile, in-depth) should take into account the type students' thinking (mostly empirical or theoretical). Thinking is realized in learning activities, which includes the following components: motivational (interests, needs, motives); semantic (formal-logical and operational knowledge); procedural and operational (methods, methods and guidelines); prognostic (decision making, compilation activity programs, prediction of the result). Depending on the content of these components in educational activities are dominated by theoretical (rational, semantic) or empirical (sensory) - subject) generalizations. Features of the components of educational activities are taken into account when selection of level content of textbooks in mathematics.
