Abstract

This article discusses the concept of mental health, the main criteria of a child’s mental health are outlined. The relationship between mental health and psychological human health is justified. Components and levels of psychological health of the child's personality are identified. The authors explore mental health characteristics of children depending on the type of display. This paper presents a comparative psychological characteristics of a mentally healthy child and a child with mental health problems. The basic needs of the child as factors of individual mental health are outlined. Established that a mentally healthy child is focused on self-development and self-actualization.
