Abstract

The manual sets out historical aspects, modern scientific approaches and methodological recommendations for measuring and managing the quality of general secondary education at the national and regional levels, as well as at the level of the educational institution. The article analyzes scientific views on the definition of the essence of the category of education quality as a system, educational process and as a result of the functioning of education. The structure and powers of the subjects of the quality management system of general secondary education in Ukraine are revealed. Special attention is paid to the issues of organizing and conducting a monitoring study of the education quality, constructing a sample of participants, formulating the educational problem and choosing methods for collecting information. Recommended for heads of educational institutions, teachers, employees of educational authorities, students of higher educational institutions of the pedagogical direction, scientific, scientific, pedagogical and pedagogical workers.
