Abstract

The article presents results of the study of influence of emotional intelligence on social intelligence development of future teachers. Social intelligence is considered in the context of relationships and understanding the emotional sphere of other persons, as conditions for the emotional competence development of an individual. This mediates the search for certain communicative strategies in different life circumstances, certain social surrounding, adoption of norms and rules of surrounding in the making future teachers. Factors are analyzed that destroy communicative links that create obstacles to the social intelligence development. Particularities are identified of skills formation in understanding experiences, feelings, own needs and desires, as well as needs of other persons. The influence is determined of developmental exercises on the ability to understand experiences of other persons and ability to build relationships with others. It promotes development of critical thinking, provides means to determine own position, develops skills of argumentation and defense of own opinions, as well as deepens knowledge of the problem being discussed. Obstacles are assigned to the development of skills in interaction and communication with other persons, as well as obstacles to the social intelligence development of future teachers. It is determined that the emotional intelligence becomes the basis for social intelligence formation of future teachers. Training exercises are selected and conducted, aimed to develop the emotional competence. Possibilities of the dialogue-phenomenological approach are detected in development of training exercises for emotional intelligence development. The elements of the dialogue-phenomenological approach are selected in the development of exercises for admission of own personal needs of person. The prospect of the research is determined ‒ development of the program for the emotional intelligence development of future teachers in higher educational institutions. The study results can also be used as a basis for creation of innovative and practical centers for psychological and pedagogical support of personal development based on educational institutions of both schools and universities.
