Abstract

The methodical manual is prepared within the limits of scientific research "Methodical bases of prevention of displays of violence at school youth". The manual generalizes theoretical knowledge on issues, prevention and counteraction to violence among schoolchildren, outlines the age characteristics of high school students, contains a training course on prevention and counteraction to violence. The manual is a component of the educational and methodical set for school youth. It aims to develop age-appropriate skills in preventing and combating violence, namely: effective communication, empathy, conflict resolution, counteracting social pressure, advocacy and protection, self-awareness and self-assessment, problem analysis and decision making, critical thinking, self-control, stress management, motivation for success and tempering. The publication is addressed to class teachers, psychologists, social pedagogues of general secondary education institutions, research and teaching staff, graduate students and students of pedagogical higher educational institutions and social work specialists.
