Abstract

The article investigates the use of open electronic information and analytical systems, which is a powerful auxiliary tool in scientific research. The article provides an analytical review of the web resource of the Institute of Information Technologies and Learning Tools of the NAES of Ukraine – Electronic Library of NAES of Ukraine using monitoring systems – statistical module IRStats 2 platform EPrints 3.3, rating system Ranking Web of Repositories and information-analytical service Google Analytics. The use of this site as a means of information and analytical support of scientific and pedagogical research is lighted up in the article. The processes of visiting the Electronic Library of the NAES of Ukraine and the use of electronic resources used to tracked, a comparative analysis and monitoring of the activity of users of this web resource was carried out in the certain time during. Analytical, statistical and comparative research methods used in the study. To obtain data on the behavior of visitors to the site and understand the main directions of their requests, it is necessary to monitor and analyze various indicators of web analytics, in particular the number of visits and users, duration of visits, etc. With this information, you can adjust the content of the website and identify the main problems that need solved to improve, find new tools for online promotion of the website, its content, interface, testing the latest functionality. By statistical module IRStats 2 using, it is possible to carry out the simple and complex analysis of loading of information resources of electronic library taking into account various indicators, to receive summary data of daily; monthly downloads, to learn a rating of the most downloaded authors and publications, etc. The Google Analytics system is an effective and powerful tool for monitoring the website of Electronic Library of the NAES of Ukraine, which provides accurate analysis on various indicators make comparative sections on specified parameters, identifies problems, allows you to find out whether the website performs basic educational tasks. The owner of the website has the opportunity to use the web analytics system to evaluate the statistics of the Electronic Library of the NEPS of Ukraine, identify the main goals and adjust them to the required parameters, fill the site according to the interest of visitors.
