Abstract

The concept of economic education in gymnasiums and lyceums of Ukraine was created as framework document defining the key vectors of economic development in school, which examines the key modern aspects of economic education based courses covering comprehensive, in terms of economics, the study of macro - and microeconomic processes. The current trends in the development of the subject "Economics", which should initiate a discussion on improving and modernizing the relevant sections of the State educational standards, and they, in turn, are new educational programs. Covered and substantiated basic aspects of dialectical interdependence of various concepts, known in Ukraine, psychological, pedagogical and didactic bases and methodical features of teaching economics in high schools and lyceums. In addition to the formation of a system of economic concepts and competencies, the Concept considers modern ones and innovative approaches to the educational process and the educational process in terms educational components.
