Abstract

The article considers the process and results of the formation of environmental competence of students, the relationship between environmental competence of students and teachers, identifies the reasons that determine it. Attention is paid to the forms and methods that are effective for the formation of environmental competence of students, ways to increase teachers' awareness of aspects of modern education in the interests of sustainable development of society.
