Abstract

The article specifies the main approaches to the study of the problem of psychological health of the individual in the scientific literature. On the basis of a detailed analysis of the scientific literature, it is established that one of the main methodological problems of the outlined field of psychological knowledge is the uncertainty of the theoretical bases, which confirms the relevance of our scientific research. The foreign researches and prophylactic programs of different models of preservation of the psychological health of the individual are analyzed. The methodology for preparing and conducting our research is based on the general meaning of methodology as the doctrine of the scientific method of cognition. It is summarized that the interpretation of the essence and content of psychological health is reflected in a considerable number of theories of psychological health, including: psychoanalytic, holistic (value), acmeological, humanistic, socio-genetic, functionalist, activity, phenomenological, evolutionary, evolutionary, cross-cultural, systemic, synergistic, etc. Generalization of the theoretical information array is made. The genesis of the development of health psychology has been traced in the context of the analysis of historical and retrospective milestones of the formation of the outlined field of scientific knowledge about man. The essence and specificity of interpretation of the concept of «psychological health» in the context of outlined methodological platforms through the prism of conceptual scientific approaches are considered. Generally, within the limits of sociocentric methodology, the psychological health of the individual is not separated into a separate scientific topic. Human health is considered here as a complex, systemic phenomenon, which has its specific manifestations at the physical, psychological and social levels and fits into the scientific strategy of comprehensive human study. The outlined methodological approaches to the problem of psychological health are analyzed.
