Abstract

The article considers the leading ideas of Academician Semеn Goncharenko, a prominent Ukrainian scientist and teacher. Pedagogical ideas on the formation of the scientific picture of the world, the principle of complementarity, humanization and fundamentalization of education are highlighted. It is proved that the pedagogical ideas of the famous scientist have a progressive character and can be used in modern pedagogical science and practice.
