Abstract
The article reveals the theoretical and methodological approaches to the problem of the influence of the relationship between mother and child on the development of her psychological well-being. The factors influencing the nature of the relationship between family members on the formation of dependent, counter-dependent relationships with children are identified. The phenomenon of a transitional object is considered, which plays an important role in the process of separation-individuation, facilitating the adaptation of the child to the fact that he feels ambivalent feelings for the mother. Generalized, received answers of parents in discussion of their relations with children, types of relations of mother in family system.
