Abstract

The article considers the period of school education as one of the most important stages of personal and creative growth of a gifted person. The teacher is described as the creator of the educational development environment. The leading role of the teacher in creation of psychological and pedagogical conditions for identification of gifted children and development of their abilities is shown. Emphasis is placed on specially organized experimental research activities as a unique method of teaching and a factor in the development of active, independent and creative personality.
