Abstract

This publication was prepared by the author's team of the Department of Leadership and Institutional Development of Higher Education of the Institute of Higher Education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine based on the results of research "Mechanisms for effective governance in Ukrainian universities in European integration" (2018-2020). The second stage of research is aimed at analyzing the leading domestic and foreign experience in implementing effective governance in universities. The structuring of the content of the publication is carried out in accordance with the terms of reference of the research and certain areas of research.The author's team hopes that the publication "Mechanisms for implementing effective governance in Ukrainian universities in the context of European integration: guidelines" examples of best foreign practices and recommendations will contribute to the practice of effective governance in Ukrainian universities and research on relevant topics.
