Abstract

The article substantiates the role of scientific and pedagogical workers in the formation of specialists of innovative type in modern branch universities. It is proved that a special place in this process belongs to the teachers of psychological and pedagogical disciplines who are to become real agents of change in the implementation of European professional values. Emphasis is placed on the policy of the higher education institution, which should be aimed at supporting the professional development of such teachers as a guarantee of improvement and renewal of own educational environment, the humanization of society as a whole.
