Abstract

The author reveals the signs of the digital age; considers ways to strengthen the positive and reduce the negative effects of new technologies through education; provides ways to form pupils' humanistic qualities in order to form an adequate response to the challenges of the future, in particular through the balance of natural (including mathematical) and humanities spheres of knowledge.
