Abstract

On the basis of the analysis of the achievements of scientists of the Department of Geography and Economics of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, key educational and methodical manuals have been selected, which serve as a standard for scientific and methodological support of integrated science courses. This is a textbook "Economic and social geography of the world", 10 cl, methodological manuals "Geography 6-11 classes: guidelines for the organization of educational process in the 2015/2016 academic year with the comment of leading experts" and "Methods of teaching geography of Ukraine in general education educational institutions. " Modern realities and prospects for the development of scientific and methodological developments are presented on the example of a nationwide large-scale study "The state of development of economic education in institutions of general secondary education of Ukraine".
