Abstract

The conference materials reveal the history of the Department of Geography and Economics of the Institute of Pedagogy of the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine, which began with the methodology of teaching geography sections of the methodology of mass and school political education, partly in the Department of Social Education. In 1934, a department for teaching geography was established (headed by KP Pertli). In October 2019, the department celebrates its 85th anniversary with a final festive event - a round table "History - dialogue - the trajectory of development." Designed for teachers, methodologists and scientists of geography and economics, students ZVO.
