Abstract

It is hypothesized that the idea of considering a small group as the space where an individual and society get together, which is stated in psychology thanks to the theory of J. L. Moreno, can be adapted to political-psychological realities. It is assumed that functions of the political system of a state are represented in the specifics of the roles performed by members of a small group, which is representative with respect to the society structure. The data of the empirical research of the content of the roles inherent to modern students are presented. The conclusion has been made that as long as the political system does not perform its functions properly the role structure of a small group is likely to contain roles which can be described as compensatory, grotesque, socially negative and super significant.
