Abstract

The roadmap for Ukraine's integration into the European Research Area (ERA-UA) was approved by the decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine № 3 / 1-7 dated March 22, 2018. Priority 5 "Optimal exchange and transfer of scientific knowledge" for the European integration of Ukrainian science states that one of the measures and tools for Ukraine is: "Identification of priority areas for the development of open science and open innovation." Two years have passed since the approval of the Roadmap. In order to further integrate Ukraine into the European Research Area, it is necessary to analyze the current state of development and use of open science and consider what research has already been conducted.
