Abstract
The theses cover psychodidactic features of pedagogical technologies in the philological direction. Domestic experience in this field is analyzed. The definitions of "information (reader) competence" and "pedagogical technologies of philological orientation" are given. Conclusions are made from the point of view of psychodidactics.
