Abstract

In the collection of scientific works, the main attention is paid to theoretical and practical aspects of the problem of psychological aid for the victims, who have signs of po st-traumatic stress disorder due to prolonged trauma. The theoretical and methodological models of the psychological trauma of combat veterans are presented, the influence of PTSD symptomatology on servicemen and veterans on their wives and children is considered, the algorithms of psychological support of veterans with manife stations of the post-traumatic disorder are presented, as well as the techniques of psychological aid for people with heavy trauma experience. Issues of the resilience of psychologi sts working with different groups of victims are discussed; peculiarities of psychological work with the population through mass media. Separate articles in the collection are devoted to the analysis of changes in clients’ individual lives as a result of therapeutic interaction in the context of different approaches. Addressed to experts in the field of counselling psychology and psychotherapy – to both scienti sts and practitioners-teachers of higher educational e stablishments that train clinical psychologi sts and psychologi sts-practitioners; to speciali sts of the medical psychological rehabilitation centres for crisis aid.
