Abstract

The work was dedicated to the research of poem form identity by prose on the example of Borys Humenyuk’s works. Through the prism of the concepts of "non-fiction literature", "genre and stylistic features of prose poetry" in the article was characterized B. Humenyuk’s work "Soniakhy" (Sunflowers). It was proved that in the context of figurative identity, rhythmic organization, semantic content, narrative type and prose form, this text as some more pieces of the book can be considered as poetry in prose. In a poem by prose "Soniakhy" (Sunflowers). B. Humenyuk on an interpreting basis of the Ukrainian experience of war in the 21st century, reminds to humanity about inhumane nature of war in general.
