Abstract

It is important to note that due to the extremely decentralized nature of education in US policies and practices may vary significantly from state to state and school district. Therefore, the general authority to create and manage public schools are reserved for states. There is no national school system and national framework laws introducing curricula or oversee most other aspects of education. The federal government, although it plays an important role in education, does not create, not Licenses schools and does not run educational institutions at any level.
