Abstract

The phenomenon of happiness is considered in various meanings: as a state of complete satisfaction with life, fortune, wealth, well-being, harmonious relationships, success and achievements, health, harmony of the inner world of a person. The authors ' observations on modern features of understanding happiness by parents and educational institutions (kindergartens and secondary schools) are presented. Insufficient use of the educational potential of labor in the education of a happy person is noted. The article provides an understanding of work in terms of its contribution to the formation of children's qualities necessary for their future happy life. Age-related accents are placed in the formation of children's ability to find their own business. It is noted that for happiness, a person must know himself, find a business that will satisfy both his own needs and the needs of society.
