Abstract

The problem of contextual study of Ukrainian and foreign literature in the institutions of general secondary education is updated, its literary and methodological aspects are emphasized, didactic and methodological possibilities of literary courses of choice regarding the effective implementation of the principle of contextuality in the process of literature study are modernized.
