Abstract

The article deals with the problem of cultural-national self-identification of education, which arises sharply in the conditions of globalization and creation of the European educational space. Noting the modern educational ideal - the training of a person who has sufficient knowledge and competencies to act in different cultural and political contexts, the author mentions the postulate of education as a condition for the creation of national identity. We cite the Southeast Asian approach as a positive example.
