Abstract

The training is aimed at raising the level of civic competence indicators such as: 1) civic awareness; 2) Knowledge of: universal, national and European values; civic responsibilities, rights and freedoms; legal mechanisms for the protection of civil rights; the essence of democracy and civil society; forms of citizens' participation in society; methods of public control; the order of creation of public organizations; quality of education criteria; the order of making public decisions; 3) ability to: create and register public organizations; to conduct own assessment of the level of quality of education, sociological surveys, student hearings; exercise public control; to make collective proposals; write collective motions; identify current problems and suggestions of students. The training materials can be useful for teachers and students of higher education institutions, vocational education, students of postgraduate education institutions, pedagogical staff of non-formal education institutions, specialists in the field of employment of population, scientists, graduate students and doctoral students studying civic education.
