Abstract

The human-centric aspect of Anton Makarenko's correspondence with Alexey Gorky is analyzed. Human-centrism is seen as a new quality of human philosophical understanding, which implies the actualization of humanistic values. It was emphasized that the outstanding teacher paid special attention to the pedagogically expedient solution of the financial-production, administrative-managerial and organizational issues of the activity of the staff of the heads of educational establishments, and involved engineering and technical staff, teachers and the pupils themselves.
