Abstract

The article focuses on the definition of the place of social networks in the formation of values of participants in the educational process. The modern tendencies that determine the transformation of the values of participants in the educational process in virtual culture are analyzed. It is established that the freedom of information dissemination in social networks, independence from its content and quality, turns the virtual Internet space into a risk zone for the spiritual and moral sphere of the individual, transforming classical values and forming a new virtual culture.
