Abstract
The article presents a new structure of the calendar-thematic plan (KTP) on biology for 1 semester for the 8th grade on the basis of a competent approach to studying.The feature of the KTP is that it contains the following structural elements: the subject of the lesson; concepts that are introduced for the first time (1) and developing (2); demonstration, laboratory research, laboratory work, research workshops, projects and components of subject competence (knowledge, activity and value).Such a structure of the KTP makes it possible to consistently form the subject competence.
