Abstract

The thesis reveals the role of purpose in competently oriented student learning. In particular, it is noted that the purpose for competently oriented learning involves: taking into account the teacher's learning goals; student involvement in defining the goals of the lesson / course topic; diagnostic and operational formulation of goals, namely: determining the knowledge that students should acquire; the skills (intellectual, practical) they need to master; qualities that will be manifested; ways to achieve the goals (list of forms, methods and techniques of work, students' reflective activity); clearly defined end result of cognitive activity of students.
