Abstract
In the article, based on the analysis of scientific works on pedagogy, psychology and linguistics, the functional aspect of the use of teaching aids in the Ukrainian language lessons in 10‒11 classes of lyceum is revealed. It is stated that the use of teaching aids in the lessons of the Ukrainian language will enhance the cognitive activity of students, stimulate them to master a new type of activity and to model ways of applying new knowledge.
