Abstract

The article describes the content of organizational culture of educational organizations as one of the types of local cultures. The main characteristics of organizational culture of educational organizations (main components; types; strength) are highlighted. It is substantiated that organizational culture performs two groups of functions: a) general (referring to promoting the activities of educational organizations as a whole); b) special (refer to promoting specific problems in educational organizations). The essence of social tension in educational organizations and its consequences are revealed. Special functions of organizational culture in the conditions of social tension are identified, which relate to: level of organization as a whole (mezzanine level); staff level (micro level).
