Abstract

The monograph is devoted to theoretical and methodological principles of formation national cultural identity in adolescents. Based on the analysis of scientific literature, the concept of “national and cultural identity of adolescents” is defined, “Parents' readiness for formation of national-cultural identity in teenagers”, the main challenges, essence, stages, moral values, psychological features of formation of national-cultural identity in teenage children are revealed. The basic principles of formation of national-cultural identity are determined. The criteria are indicators and levels of education of national and cultural identity of adolescents. Structural-functional model and pedagogical conditions of formation of adolescents of national and cultural identity are substantiated. A personally oriented method of education has been disclosed. For scientists, teachers, students of institutions of higher pedagogical education, pedagogical workers of institutions of general secondary education.
