Abstract
The article reflects the characteristics of the quest, the principles of its development and quality criteria. The efficiency of the application of the quest technology in environmental education of school students is substantiated. The possibility of conducting an environmental quest on the territory of the school to study the main goals of sustainable development, stimulate students' creative activity and teamwork. The scenario of realization of eco-quest is offered.
