Abstract

This article is devoted to the problems of studying the communicative-discursive space of narrative identity of the individual. Identity is defined as narrative and identity in the context of discourse. Identity in a discursive approach is found not to be reduced to the communicative position or communicative status of the speaker; it is embodied in a broad cultural context and reproduced on the basis of existing social practices.
