Abstract

The textbook describes the methodology of teaching chemistry in primary school based on a competency approach. Here are presented theoretical questions concerning formation of subject competence of students in chemistry, the methods of realization of the main content lines of the curriculum, the usage of competently oriented tasks and modern information and communication technologies, and the organization of students' work on educational projects. There are revealed main peculiarities of thematic planning of the training material on a competence basis. It is intended for teachers and methodologists of chemistry, students of pedagogical universities.
