Abstract
The use of algorithms in the professional activity of employees of the psychological service is considered as a means of improving the efficiency of diagnostic and corrective work. Attention is drawn to the differences between the concepts "algorithm", "method", "project", "technology". The necessary minimum for the construction of the algorithm of work of a practical psychologist is determined.
