Abstract

Changing priorities in the content of teaching foreign languages to elementary school students, focusing it on a competent basis necessitates the revision of some strategically important didactic and methodological provisions that significantly affect the transformation processes underway. First and foremost this applies to those areas that comprehensively characterize the essence of competently oriented learning.
