Abstract

Modern bibliometric research is carried out using reference bibliometric electronic resources: bibliographic, factual or abstract. The main international resources used by modern researchers in the field of bibliometrics are: Scopus, Web of Science (WoS), Google Scholar, Webometrics Ranking of World Universities, Russian Index of Scientific Citation (RIC) and others. The purpose of these databases is to track the citations and ratings of scientists, research teams, determine the impact factor of scientific publications, and their impact on the education industry. Noteworthy are the national databases that allow bibliometric research, namely: Ukrainian Science, Ukrainian Scientific Periodicals, Science of Ukraine - Access to Knowledge, Open Archives of Ukraine, Bibliometrics of Ukrainian Science, Open Science in Ukraine (OSU), Ukrainian Index of Scientific Citation etc.
